From September 23rd to November 7th 2020, LEDECO Centre has organized a series of online lectures on dialogue with international youth talents. Chinese senior officials from international organizations such as the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), World Wide Fund for Nature or World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) etc. gave lectures to students from Renmin University of China (RUC) and Shanghai University.
The second phase of this series of online lectures is in preparation now.
Lecture A: “China’s Participation in Global Governance and Training for International Talents” by Mr. Xiankun LU, former Chinese Counsellor to the WTO
Lecture B: “From UNIADS to UNICEF: My Career in International Organizations” by Ms. Haoyin WU from UNICEF; Mr. Xiankun Lu moderated and participated in the lecture.
Lecture C: “Take Part in International Multilateral Humanitarian Action and Practice International Humanitarian Spirit” by Mr. Ting FANG from ICRC. Mr. Xiankun Lu moderated and participated in the lecture.
Lecture D: “Working in International Non-governmental Organizations: My Experience and Gains”by Ms. Ying WANG from WWF. Mr. Xiankun Lu moderated and participated in the lecture.
Lecture E: “From A Civil Servant to An International Organization Official: Leaps and Lessons”by Mr. Cong WU from UNIDO. Mr. Xiankun Lu moderated and participated in the lecture.
Lecture F: “My Three Years at the United Nations”by Mr. Donghui XU from UNESCO. Mr. Xiankun Lu moderated and participated in the lecture.
