LEDECO and SEU Joint Summer Study Tour of Global Governance 2025

From June 28 to July 6, 2025, LEDECO Centre Swiss (LEDECO) organized an in-depth Study Tour of Global Governance jointly with the Southeast University. 28 students from various majors and grades at Southeast University participated in the program. The tour was led by Ms. Ding Han, Deputy Director of the Career Services Center at Southeast University; Mr. Kang Zhichao from the School of Information Science and Engineering; and Mr. Wang Wuchu from the School of Transportation. Professor Lu Xiankun, Managing Director of LEDECO, provided comprehensive guidance and participated throughout the tour.

2025年6月28日-7月6日，瑞士箂科中心与东南大学共同组织开展2025暑期“欧洲国际组织深度实践”研学活动，来自东南大学多个专业和年级的28位学生参加，东南大学就业指导中心副处长丁菡老师、信息科学与工程学院康志超老师与交通学院王武渠老师带队，箂科中心执行主任卢先堃教授全程指导并参与了此次研学活动。

Over the one-week program, the students visited eight international organizations and diplomatic institutions. They first arrived in Geneva, where they visited the World Trade Organization (WTO), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Chinese Mission to the WTO, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). On July 2, they arrived in Vienna and visited the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).

在为期一周的研学中，同学们共参访了8个国际组织和外交机构，同学们先落地日内瓦，参访了世贸组织（WTO）、国际标准化组织（ISO）、国际劳工组织（ILO）、中国驻WTO代表团与红十字会与红新月会国际联合会（IFRC），随后于7月2日抵达维也纳，参访了国际原子能机构（IAEA）、联合国工业发展组织（UNIDO）和全面禁止核试验条约组织筹备委员会（CTBTO）。

Johanna Hill, Deputy Director-General of the WTO; Bridget Shoo, counsellor at the WTO’s Digital Trade and Frontier Technologies; Zhang Weifeng, Head of the News and Public Affairs of the Chinese Permanent Mission to the WTO; Remo Becci, Head of the Archives Division of the ILO; Anna Gallet Project Manager of ISO Education; Ravindra Wickremasinghe, from the External Relations Department of the UNIDO; and Joanne Liou, Public Information Officer of the IAEA, among other senior officials from international organizations, delivered lectures to the delegation and answered the students’ questions. The students listened attentively, asked questions actively, and gained a deep understanding of the history, functions, opportunities, and challenges faced by these international organizations, as well as China’s role etc. They also gained a comprehensive understanding of the internship and job opportunities available at these organizations and the related requirements.

WTO副总干事Johanna Hill、WTO电子贸易与前沿科技部门官员Bridget Shoo、中国常驻WTO代表团新公组组长张委峰、ILO档案处处长Remo Becci、ISO培训主管Anna Gallet、UNIDO对外事务部门官员Ravindra Wickremasinghe、IAEA公共信息官员Joanne Liou等国际组织高级别官员亲自给代表团做了讲座并回答了同学们的问题。同学们认真听讲、积极提问，深入学习了上述国际组织的历史和功能、面临的机遇和挑战以及中国所发挥的作用，也全面了解了这些国际组织的实习和求职机会以及相关要求。
